Brain Anatomy – The one and only anatomy or organ that can control our body is brain. Brain is the most important part of our body. Without brain, we cannot move, smile, cry walk even eat. Moreover, this important of our body also has the anatomy that is very complex as well as the functions as an organ of human body. Again, your brain controls all the functions of your body. The brain is the center of your body overall.

If your brain healthy, it will encourage a healthy body as well as your mental health support. Conversely, if your brain is interrupted, your body and your mental health can be disrupted as well. If your heart or your lungs stopped working for just a few minutes, you can still survive. However, if your brain stopped working for a second, then your body is dead. That is why the brain is called as the most important organ

Brain anatomy and its functions

Our brain is divided into four sections. They are cerebrum (Large Brain), Cerebellum (Small Brain), Brainstem (Brain Stem), and Limbic system (limbic system).Cerebrum is the largest part of the human brain which is also called Cerebral Cortex, or forebrain.

The cerebrum is the part of the brain that distinguishes humans from animals. The cerebrum enables humans having the ability to think, analyze, logic, language, awareness, planning, memory and visual abilities. Your intelligence quotient or IQ is also determined by the quality of this section.

Small brain or cerebellum is located at the back of the head, near the tip of the upper neck. The cerebellum controls many automatic functions of the brain, including: adjust posture or body position, balance control, muscle coordination and body movement. Small brain also stores and carries out a series of automatic movements are studied as driving movements, hand movements while writing, movement and lock the door and so on.

Brainstem (brainstem) is inside the cavity of the skull and it extends up to the spine or spinal cord. This part of the brain regulates basic human functions, including breathing, heart rate, body temperature, digestion, and is the source of basic human instinct that isfight or flight (fight or run away) when facing a danger.

The limbic system is located in the center of the brain. Brain stem wraps like a shirt collar. Limbic comes from the Latin which means ‘collar’. This part of the brain is also owned by mammals, that is why it is also called as the mammalian brain. The functions of this part is to control feelings or emotions, as well as hunger, hormone and so on.

In addition, most importantly, the brain anatomy is a complicated organ. Discussing about the anatomy and function of the brain in detail could take days.
