Therefore, we know how to understand things. Thus, we can enjoy the beauty or even the badness of something. And that is how an eye is programmed.
Eye Anatomy and Structure
Eye has a part called eye ball. The eye ball is one of the eye anatomy which can be obviously seen. The diameter of the eye ball is 2,5 cm while 5/6 is inside the eye socket and only a sixth which is apparent. Each of the parts of eye has a different function. Eye ball alone consists of some parts.
First, Sclera. Sclera is the white layer which covers the outside of the eye. The function of sclera is to protect the eye ball and prevent it from a mechanical damage. Next, cornea, it is the transparent outer that covers the eye ball and its function is to enable light passing through the eye ball. Iris is the the colored circular part of an eye surrounding the black pupil. And the function is to take control of the light which enters the eye. Those are some parts of eye ball. And, the eye ball has three layers. They are tunica fibrosa, tunica vasculosa, dan tunica nervosa.
Tunica vibrosa consists of sclera. Sclera is the outer layer and it is very strong. The color of sclera is white, except at the front part. At this layer there is cornea, which is the layer of translucent color and function to receive the incoming light and then focus on it. To protect the cornea, tears secreted so the cornea can always be wet and clean from dust.
On the cornea and scleraboundary, there is a Schlemm canal which is a sinus venosus that reabsorbs fluid aquaus humor of the eyeball.
Tunica Vasculosa is the central part of the eyeball. It consists of iris, corpus, ciliaris, and coroid. Coroid is full of veins. And the part of eye which can determine the color of eyes is iris. Iris distinguish the color of someone’s eyes whether it is blue, green, black or brown.Tunica nervosa (retina) is the receptor of eye which is in the back of coroid. It is the very inside part of the eyeball. This layer is soft and very thin.
