Strep Throat - I believe that many of us or even almost all of us have experienced this kind of infection. Strep is an infection that occurs inside throat or tonsil. This infection is caused by bacteria. The infection later becomes inflammation as well as irritation in throat and tonsil. So, what causes strep throat?
Causes and symptoms of strep throat
What causes strep are the bacteria called streptococcal bacteria. There are many different types of such bacteria, strep bacteria, causing strep throat. It is not treated well it can become a severe disease. Sometimes when we feel sore in our throat, we directly assume that that sore in our throat is strep throat.
However, that assumption is not completely right. When we have sore in our throat, it is not merely the sore of strep throat. That sore you feel in your throat can be caused by virus not by streptococcus bacteria. Some people also think that some symptoms such as sneezing or coughing is part of strep throat symptoms. Nonetheless, that is not true.
The symptoms that can be identified that you have strep throat are when you get fever and your temperature becomes 38.3 Celsius degree and can be more than that.
The other symptom of strep throat can also be very severe sore in throat which felt so sudden. If you suffer strep throat, you can also feel pain when you swallow food or drink. If you have strep throat you also will find out your tonsils and lymph nodes swollen. And it is what causes the sore or pain when swallowing food or drink.
Other symptoms that might be felt can be severe headache, and you get your stomach pain. In severe strep throat, you may also feel not hungry. You also feel like want to vomit and you have rash skin as well.

Strep throat is a contagious illness. It can be transmitted by air when coughing or when shaking hands. It is through the air or when coughing, strep bacteria can be dropped and touched by other people. Thus, if you have some symptoms of strep throat, you better see your doctor soon.
