The second food pyramid is a pyramid that is used as a medium to divide food according to some categories. This pyramid is divided into some sections. It shows recommended healthy food as the intake for our body. Each section in this food pyramid gives a depiction on how much fat, sugar, salt, carbohydrate and other nutrients that our body needs.

If you are planning to have a healthy diet, food pyramid can be used to maintain the portions of food you eat. You can use a blank food pyramid so you can divide yourself which food or nutrition your body needs. You have to remember that it is about what your body needs not about what you need. But before you divide which food includes to each section of your food pyramid, you have to first consult to your doctor. If you do not, it may cause serious problem to your health. You first better ask your doctor which food that your body needs. It is because every person has their own portion of nutrition needed by their body. In a blank food pyramid, you have to put food that is not very essential for your body on the top of the pyramid. The lower section will be the food you need but only when you eat it in small amount.
