There is a method to treat ankle sprain well. We can use RICE method to treat our sprained ankle. What is RICE method? RICE stands for Rest, Ice, Compression and Elevation. This is important for us to know the steps of treating ankle sprain well. First step that has to be done is resting our sprained ankle. Do not walk, do not move our ankle. Next, the injury part is given and treated using ice. This step can relieve the pain of ankle sprain.
After that, compress the sprained ankle using ace bandage. This step can relieve the swollen part of the injury. The last step is elevation. Lift the sprained ankle higher than our chest. This method also can relieve the swollen part. This method can work even better when we at least know the ankle diagram.
